Article 118-3. Access to confidential information about orphaned children, children left without parental care of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Access of persons wishing to adopt children into their families to confidential information about orphaned children and children left without parental care is subject to their registration in the Republican Data Bank and commitment to non-disclosure of information from the Republican Data Bank.
2. Confidential information about orphaned children, children left without parental care, may be used by the body performing the functions of guardianship or guardianship, local executive bodies of districts, cities of regional significance, cities of republican significance, the capital at the location of orphaned children, children left without parental care, and the authorized body in areas of protection of children's rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the creation of derivative information about orphaned children, children left without parental care.
The use of derived information about orphaned children and children left without parental care for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Derived information about orphaned children and children left without parental care includes information on gender, age, health status, character traits, reasons for lack of parental care, the presence of siblings, adult relatives, as well as possible forms of family placement and photographs of children contained in the Republican Database..
