Article 198. State registration of the birth of a child who has reached the age of one year or more of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. State registration of the birth of a child who has reached the age of one year or more, if there are grounds for state registration of the birth specified in Article 187 of this Code, shall be carried out upon a written application from the parents or other interested persons.

     Upon reaching the age of majority, the state registration of birth is carried out upon his written application.

     2. The state registration of the birth of a child who has reached the age of one year or more is carried out by the registration authority of the district or city on the basis of the conclusion of the registration authority.
