Article 268. The basis for the state registration of death of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The basis for the state registration of death is:
1) a document of the prescribed form of death issued by a medical organization;
2) a court decision that has entered into legal force to establish the fact of death or to declare a person deceased.
If there is an integration of the medical digital healthcare system with the digital system of the authorized body in the field of healthcare, the document of the established form of death is entered by the medical organization only into the medical information system of healthcare no later than one day after death.
In the absence of integration of the digital systems specified in part two of this article, a document of the prescribed form on death shall be entered by the medical organization into both the digital system of the authorized body in the field of healthcare and the medical digital health system no later than one day after death.
