1. A marriage (matrimony) may be terminated by its dissolution at the request of one or both spouses, as well as at the request of the spouse's guardian, who has been declared legally incompetent by a court.

2. The dissolution of a marriage is impossible without the consent of the spouse during her pregnancy and during the first year of the child's life.
