Article 182. Payment for state registration of acts of civil status of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The amount of payment for state registration of acts of civil status is determined by the authorized body in the field of rendering state and socially responsible services in coordination with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the antimonopoly authority.
2. The following persons are exempt from payment for state registration of acts of civil status:
1) veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans who are equivalent in benefits to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and veterans of military operations on the territory of other states, persons awarded orders and medals of the former USSR for selfless labor and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War, persons who worked (served) for at least six months from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, and those who were not awarded orders and medals of the former USSR for selfless labor and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War, persons with disabilities, as well as one of the parents of a person with a disability since childhood, a child with a disability, guardians (trustees) upon presentation of supporting documents – for the state registration of acts of civil status and the issuance of repeated certificates and certificates of state registration of acts of civil status;
2) government organizations – for issuing repeated birth certificates;
3) individuals – for the state registration of the birth of a child and the issuance of a birth certificate;
4) individuals – for the state registration of death and for the issuance of certificates, repeated certificates, certificates and death notices;
5) individuals – for the cancellation of acts of civil status;
6) individuals – for issuing certificates to them when changing, supplementing, restoring and correcting records of acts of civil status in connection with errors made during the state registration of acts of civil status;
7) individuals – for making changes and additions to the records of the state registration of birth in connection with the establishment of paternity, adoption of a child by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the issuance of repeated birth certificates in connection with adoption and establishment of paternity.
