Article 271. State registration of the death of persons whose corpses are unidentified and unclaimed of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The state registration of the death of persons whose corpses have not been identified and are not in demand is carried out by the registration authorities upon a written application from an official of the forensic medical examination organization.
During the state registration of the death of persons whose corpses are unidentified, only the information necessary for state registration, which is contained in the medical death certificate, is entered into the death certificate.
If the deceased is subsequently identified, the missing information about him is recorded in the death certificate on the basis of a medical death certificate and a written request from the applicant without drawing up an opinion.
On state registration of persons whose corpses are unidentified and unclaimed, a death certificate is issued to the relevant service of local executive bodies in the form established by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
