Article 6. The exercise of rights and duties in the marital and family (matrimonial)relations of the Code on Marriage (Matrimony) and Family of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     Citizens, at their discretion, dispose of their rights arising from marital and family relations, including the right to protection of these rights, unless otherwise established by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     The exercise of marital and family rights and the performance of duties should not violate the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of other family members and other subjects of law.
